This has to be a very special situation where your opponent is at the *highest* point in their jump. Just teleport, they will get knocked high in the air, jump again and air throw.

But maybe you could just be talking about when scorpion teleports and throws you on the ground... all you gotta do to avoid this is hold the opposite direction and down at the same time. Or you could just try a crouching LP, LK, or even an uppercut.

There are videos and explanations for this all over the site here. You have to release the button half way, then hold down again. It's tricky.

There are a number of things you can do here, but uppercutting works best IMO. Crouch and wait for him to teleport, the second he pops up on the other side, uppercut him. You can also block his kick or punch while standing, then uppercut right after, but the timing has to be perfect.

I don't think so... but then again who knows.  Sad

I have yet to pull it off, but I'm told by some, that if you can use 2 fingers to pull this off, it works a lil better / more often ::shrugs:: I gotta wait until I gets us another controller, to practice some of these techniques...

i agree... not many good kung lau players use this move all too often in my experience due to the uppercut awaiting them on the other end. Keep an eye out, for your opponents tendencies, and once you're able to spot their pattern(s) (i.e. after he misses a dive kick, he usually teleports) you can prepare yourself to recognize when he will put himself at risk.

I haven't seen it either... but has anyone ever found out why sumtime the shadowkick is all red-like with the electro-sound effect?

I think that's an homage to ryu's blue hadoken ball which *sometimes* came out red in the original street fighter II. The red shadow kick does the same amount of damage and is basically there to "wow" the players every now and then.
