Alright, i have three main problems. 32k 64 didn't work on my cpu, though I will try again. Unfortunately for me, that's the most popular when it comes to MK2.

2. I have both 117 and 119, but kaillera is working on 117. Says it "can't find/download kailleraclient.dll" Although I have it on my cpu AND it 119 connects just fine.

3. When I start Third Strike on 117, everything seems find until some stupid screen comes up saying that I put a CD ROM in, (though I didn't) and I can't click either one of the options.

David, to get .064 working with windows 7 you need to adjust the ini file manually in order for it to recognize your controller. First you're going to open your mame32.064 folder, next scroll down till you see the ini folder, you'll click into that then open up the txt file labeled mame32k. Your ini should look similiar to this.vvvvvv
ScreenWidth=1024
ScreenHeight=600
RefreshRate=0
SwitchResolution=1
WindowMode=1
Monitor=0
Brightness=100
GammaCorrection=1.00

UseJoystick=1           <<< From 0 to 1
DirectInputJoystick=1 <<< Here you will change it from 0 to 1

JoystickID3=2
JoystickID4=3
UseMouse=1
DirectInputMouse=1
DirectInputKeyboard=1
DefaultInputLayout=0
UseArtwork=1

Now the only ones you'll have to adjust is the direct input joystick,use joystick, and enable cheat they're automatically at 0 so you're going to want to change them to a 1, as for going full screen I haven't figured that one out from the ini. In any case I've tried it never seems to affect anything, so instead I just right click the top border when the game is started and scroll down to where it says hardware stretch and click 4. It makes the screen nearly full size on your monitor. I cant even begin to express how many times I tried making 32k work on win7 b4 i figured this out, lol at least 10 times. I'm sure if i messed around with ini a little more i could prolly find a way to make it full screen without using the border click, but im kinda lazy so, lol. gl lemme know what comes up.

Edit:I know that all of this probably seems like it's way too much, but once you get this working and copy those files to an external device such as a Jump Drive etc... you'll never have to go through it again lol. I carry my Mame folders in my Jump Drive on my keychain, so MK is with me everywhere I go, LOL!

I just want to add onto this. Sonic Cage Dome appears to be down or empty most of the time. I am new.. I kept trying to play using kaillera .119, because it was available on their main website.. It didn't work out. Here is what you need to do:

Download Mame 0.64 here http://www.anti3d.com/dl/mame32k0.64en.zip Yes and OLDER version! I took me HOURS to figure this out lol.

Its what everyone uses because it supports for up to 4 players in a single room (Even if the room says 2/2 full you can still join!)  Also it is a bit more stable, noobs don't know how to use p2p, so for now just connect to a server!

Connect to the server called "Mortal Kombat 1/2/3 *Official Server* (Mame 0.64 Required)
Please don't just connect and disconnect! stay there if you can to get this thing going! Chat, and if new people come, join their games and talk!

If you have trouble getting a game going, open a new mame window, and go to WEST WONDERLAND. There are always games going there.

After downloading the mame .64 link provided. IGNORE the missing COMCTL32.DLL error and click yes. I spent an hours trying to fix this.. I have Windows 7, it's annoying but not important.

Then just go to OPTIONS, DIRECTORIES, and add your mortal kombat arcade roms directory!

Have FUN!

Side Note: You may notice the Mortal Kombat 1.4 rom will give you trouble if you try to start it, start 3.1!
Also, for umk3.. most people are playing the "hacked juggernaut v1.0" So if you can find that.. download it!  Also, alt+enter will crash the game for some, so just maximize the window while you are playing. Tab is to configure controls. To keep this going, populated servers are important. Most people just connect and disconnect if they see nobody is in the server. Try to hang out! If you can host a server that says "Mortal Kombat" in the name.. that would help the most. Download EMULINKER 1.02. If you have any questions about doing this e-mail kakk333@yahoo.com!

QUESTION do I have to reconfigure the buttons on my pc controller every time I load up mk 2 on mame or does my button config save?
Button config saves.
