I don't have to prove to the world anything. Hence, the screenplay. All I can tell you for sure is that Mortal Kombat 2 is happening, but don't expect it to come out to theaters within the next year or two. Listening carefully, People. Don't push me around because I push back. In other words: Don't make me feel unwelcome here. I've got enough things to deal with. If you keep adding on to this whole envy issue you have with me for whatever reason  (you know who you are), then I'll have to say good-bye to communicating directly to everyone who wants Mortal to happen as much as I do, okay.

Theshold hates the so-called Mortal Kombat "trailer", and Theshold has the rights to the three+ Mortal Kombat films. So, no Mortal Kombat: Rebirth crap, LOL. To the real/true fans, that Rebirth crap wasn't at all Mortal Kombat. True/real fans know that obviously.  Bye!

P.S. Tell me what your suggestions are for Mortal Kombat 2. HERE"S A QUOTE FROM Christophe Gans: "A game is a game, a movie is a movie" --Silent Hill.

Respect my wishes above. It's there as rules for all of you to follow when communicating with me. If you don't listen to me and try to boss me around through arguing and/or verbally attacking... I have no problem with cutting off this direct communication all of you have with me, for I would be forced to do so if that ever occurs . I am dead serious about the rules I apply. Follow them. Now, let's get back to your messages ... Keep 'em coming!!

Sorry if you feel offended, but those are legitimate questions. To come to a bunch of MK players, hardcore players, and say you're writing it, I feel it only appropriate to ask those questions as to not have anyone let down. Envy? What? Who's bossing you around or arguing or verbally attacking? There's obviously a lot of confusion on the part of fans because of everything that's been going on, so if you answered some of those questions, you could help clear it up for us.

Thank you, but no! Follow the rules or I am out of here and will never ever come back here ever again. Got it, people. Okay... I will answer only one question of the direct message about this one. Here is my answer to one of your questions: Yes, I do have a lot of people out in the world that like to see me completely fail. I don't pretend to understand it, really. But that's how the world works. Even some of my friends are that way... But, yes, those are right questions...only if you do not already know of me. Sorry to the real/true fans for my message/s sounding snap-py. It's just that I am, honestly speaking, very over-protective of myself as well as a bit conscientious about all this Mortal Kombat 2 discussion (excluding people trying to undermine my efforts by personally sabotaging me with their a-waste-of-time-trash (fake) Mortal Kombat: Rebirth hoax, my private life (including my career obviously), and the Mortal Kombat 2 script. Now, that is all cleared up, Keep sending suggestions to me.

WOW...

Kung Lau a bad guy?!

as for suggestions, I think it would be nice, to see Shang Tsung as both old and young, not to mention seeing him morph into Kintaro to finish someone.

PLUS! I can think back to the first time I ever gazed upon a MK machine at the local bowling alley my parents frequented and was amazed at how 'real' it looked even with buckets of blood pouring out of the fighters. Down+HP was the 1st move I learned and I think many of us have quite an appetite for seeing plenty of uppercuts.

Ermac was / is my favorite character and in the beginning he was rumored to be in the first MK (error machine)  he may not be a main character in this movie, but I think it would be nice to see the writers try and attempt to include the 'hidden' aspect of the MK universe.

if it's true about the movie trying to mimic 'real life' I say quit while you're ahead. MK is and will always be a game, full of make believe that makes a person cringe. If the movie can't reflect what draws us all to the game... IMHO, you've got another bust on yer hands.

either way, best of luck. And if You need an actor to play the part of 'guy walks up to MK II machine and inserts money'.... I'm your guy!

This is shocking for any Mortal Kombat fan to hear this for the first time ever heard.... Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile are completely dead and will never ever be relived because they have been killed at the Tournament. For that, they have been erased from existence forever by the rules of Mortal Kombat.... Welcome to the future of Mortal Kombat.... Welcome to Mortal Kombat 2....

There is a sort of neat idea about bringing back Chan Kang (the first guy to get killed off in Mortal - Liu Kang's younger brother) and the demon sorcerer Shang Tsung. But it's up in the air right now.

... And there are plans for the Sonya Blade character specifically for part 2 that was only hinted at in the first movie. Think of the connection between her and Sindel... Can any of you figure it out about my little riddle of the connection between 'em both ?!

There are going to be more than a lot of chosen fighters that are not from any Mortal Kombat video game, movie, or TV show, or comic, or novel that will play a major part in the overall Mortal Kombat 2 plot.

They were chosen by the Lord Rayden character long before the first movie's story that are gonna fight the Outworld invasion if and when it happens to occur.... To see the origin of the invasion, look at the last scene when they go back to Earth to the Temple of Light at the ending of the first movie. Thereafter, the Emperor takes almost of everybody's soul around the entire globe; Sonya, Liu, Johnny, Lord Rayden, and Princess Kitana are one of the last people on Earth... Every man, woman, and child will turn possessed.

Paul! I am not sure if I will like an MK movie with no  Lips SealedWink , or  Huh?Cry Anyway, I thought this was going to be a reboot? All the characters you mentioned are fine, but really, I think the majority of the people don't really care too much about Sonya or Sindel. BUT, if the storyline is written well, it won't matter which characters are in it. From reading what you wrote, I take it that the mortal kombat 8 minute short didn't do so well with WB?

are you paul w.s. anderson?

And I can't understand how they would allow a MK movie to be made without the three main ninjas. And why wouldn't the studio be interested in Rebirth? It has unbelievable buzz and MK fans and non-MK fans alike are in general agreement that it's awesome.

Hi, everybody! Well, where do I start?! Hum..? I'll let the cat out of the bag now... Mortal Kombat 2 is coming. It is going to erase that horrible, god-awful movie sequel Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. It is obvious going to be more true to the first movie in every way. Think of it as  the real sequel to the first. Be prepared for this: Nothing in this world can prepare you for this! Mortal Kombat  will continue!!

Excellent! Thank you for the insight and your time!

Well if this is the way the other MK movies were made...getting feedback from players like this , no wonder they were so confusing lol. You get ideas from every corner of the game and to be honest that really isnt such a good thing. I think if they just made a movie about the players themselves it would be alot more interesting. Like the way things are here and on CMK , theres some crazy fuckin players out there!!! Death threats and shit wtf? I dont know , im just throwin my 2 cents in there but hearing about a movie with my and many other players  favorite characters out ( Sub,Scorp and Rep) ive already lost all interest  Huh? either you piss off one type of fan or another. Games to movies , nobody wins except the people who dont play them lol.

I agree, this whole thing sounds convoluted and I wouldn't have any interest in seeing it. Also, wouldn't you be setting the studio up for a lawsuit by soliciting ideas on a forum? If someone here posts an idea and it gets put into the movie, the proof is here that the idea was taken from someone else. And why would you reference the original MK movie when most people who are going to see the new one most likely haven't seen the original or don't remember it?? Anyway we could see a sample of the script to get a better idea of the the style and flow?

Since I am truthfully aware of all of the four original Mortal Kombat games... I am trying to let Mortal Kombat grow by making Mortal Kombat 2 come to be something that we all can watch and enjoy 25 years from now and say that it is a true sequel that is side by side with Terminator 2.

I do not mind if a few fan-favorite characters are left out...only if the story itself is promising and much more! I am the only person that can do Mortal absolutely right in the whole entire world; for that, only I can tell the story.

Who likes Cyrax, Smoke, and Sektor?  They will be in the story.

If you think you know, you have no clue.... In others words, if you think Mortal Kombat 2 is gonna be a flop, take Resident for example....
