I never had a problem with Lebron leaving Cleveland.  The NBA is after all a business, and its any player's business to put themselves in a position to win a championship.  It's like we say in mk2, do anything to win and fuck this imaginary honor code that people have created.  I was really impressed overall with the Miami Heat.  It's hard for me to say anything bad about a team that made it to the finals.

You make a damn good point Mike, and I'm glad to hear your response. My beef is not with just his decision to leave, he could do whatever he wants, but the fashion in which he did it added insult to injury to the people of Cleveland, the people of the state of Ohio, and to Cleveland Cavalier fans. First of all he was given an HOUR long special held by none other than ESPN, which highlighted his arrogance, and it was evident by him saying, "I have decided to take MY TALENTS, to South Beach". He could have just left Cleveland without doing all THAT... Secondly, the Miami Heat organization threw these guys (Lebron, Wade and Bosh) an elaborate celebration, further boosting the ego's of these three men. They (The Heat franchise) and the players, could have chosen otherwise... The third thing is sort of out of Lebron's control, but the Michael Jordan, Lebron James comparisons needs to stop! Lebron James is sure as hell not Michael Jordan, and he doesn't come close. For that matter, Kobe Bryant comes closer with his career resume, and Dwyane Wade, Lebron's own teammate has more of an MJ killer instinct than he does.

I also find it extremely disappointing that we live in a society that glorify's individuals, especially individuals who have yet to accomplish anything noteworthy. It's kinda like in the early 2000's, how R&B star Ashanti was dubed, "The princess of Hip-Hop and R&B," REALLY, has anyone heard of her in the past three years, NO!!!. And just like Ashanti was given CRAZY Praise. We still give individuals wayyyyyy too much credit than they deserve. If your looking to admire an NBA star, I can recommend one, Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls. Rose is a family man, who came from humble means, and is a selfless player on the basketball court. He was a part of the Memphis Tigers who played great in the NCAA Tourney a couple of years back, and this past season he helped lead the Chicago Bulls team to the conference finals in just his third year in the league. But he did it with a quiet, and composed sense of dignity. He is a good player, and one that is not selfish...

Rest in Peace to the Texas Rangers fan who fell from the stands a couple of days ago. Its terrible to know that this man, who was also a Fire Fighter, fell to his death and his son witnessed the entire event unfold. My prayers go out to him and his family...

The 2011 NFL season is about to begin, here are my predictions for each division.

AFC East
1) NY Jets
2) Patriots
3) Dolphins
4) Bills

AFC South
1) Texans
2) Titans
3) Colts
4) Jaguars

AFC West
1) Chiefs
2) Chargers
3) Raiders
4) Broncos

AFC North
1) Ravens
2) Steelers
3) Browns
4) Bengals

NFC East
1) Eagles
2) Cowboys
3) Giants
4) Redskins

NFC South
1) Saints
2) Falcons
3) Buccanneers
4) Panthers

NFC West
1) Seahawks
2) Rams
3) Cardinals
4) 49ers

NFC North
1) Packers
2) Lions
3) Bears
4) Vikings

I had to update this list after hearing that Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning is going to be sidelined for about three month's do to a surgical precedure. Because of this, my new prediction for the AFC South is that the Houston Texans will win the division. I am also placing the Tennesee Titans in 2nd, and the Manningless Colts in 3rd.
