I couldn't be more happy today! I have finally seen the giants win the world series! Now I haven't been waiting as long as some since I'm still young but I was there in 02 and I was so disappointed with the loss. With So many of the greats who have played for the giants (bonds, Mays, marichal, snow, McCovey, etc.) a couple of rookies (legendary rookies), some last minute pick up players, and some great giant veterans were able to take the world series! If someone would have said the giants would be in the world series back in may and that they would win I wouldn't have believed. It's not that their is no faith for my g-men but the giants truly came together to take down some extraordinary teams that it just wouldn't seem possible. Once we had that July month I knew what was coming but still it's extrodinary. We have no Heroes on this team it's all about our chemistry and the drive to win. I truly am sad that the rangers fans can not experience  what i am feeling but I hope they can see the bright side that they won a alcs pennant and have gone where no ranger has gone before. They will be back soon I'm sure. By The way I know I said I would put the MVP on my jersey (not that anyone cares lol) but I think I will change my mind on that, it's now between posey and lincecum. Rentaria did great and he deserved MVP but truthfully we would be no where without these guys and I feel we could have not even have made it here without the help of these men. Mark my words posey will be a hall of famer. Any ideas on who I should put?

sorry if this doesn't really belong in here, but it pertains to sports (although i haven't heard much [damn Jupiter] these past few days).

I never really liked Moss, but he's grown on me over the years...

Lol you are sooooo right ages, but I got into a discussion with MKArcadeSource about the origins of my name.

I also feel sorry for Randy Moss as of this moment, just let go by the Vikes, and just a couple weeks ago let go by the Pats. God knows the media has him in a negative spotlight, but I think he could be a valuable asset to a team vying for a playoff spot. Lol or my Baltimore Ravens.

the vikings season is already in the tiolet thats why they picked up moss, so now that they are done they are just trying to take the attention off themselves, thats my opinion

Yea Moss and Favre are has-beens. Retire already!

On a side note the Lions are 2-5 now w00t! We're tied with the vikings and something tells me we'll finish with a better record than them lol

Congratualations to the Dallas Mavericks on winning their first ever NBA title!

I want to make it be known, to all the Heat bandwagon jumpers, and to ESPN, that the team in which you were blowing all year has lost... ESPN, which is supposed to be neutral when it comes to sports teams, showed throughout the entire year that the Miami Heat were their team.

ESPN first of all is responsible for the infamous, "Decision," where Lebum James decided to take "His Talents to South Beach." Then ESPN went crazy, forcing Heat coverage down our fucking throats, they went as far as to create some dumb shit called "The Heat Index", The HEAT INDEX! They put this shit at the top of their website's web page!, in the NBA section!... They, just like all these other bandwagon jumpers got a damn good lesson tonight, the good guys won, the bad guys lost.

The Dallas Mavericks are NBA champions, Dirk Nowitzki, a good and respectable basketball player has his ring. Although Dirk may be an individual, he lead his team with the upmost character and class, unlike that, "Whiney Bunch" Miami Heat team Charles Barkley so eliquently called.

I never had a problem with Lebron leaving Cleveland.  The NBA is after all a business, and its any player's business to put themselves in a position to win a championship.  It's like we say in mk2, do anything to win and fuck this imaginary honor code that people have created.  I was really impressed overall with the Miami Heat.  It's hard for me to say anything bad about a team that made it to the finals.

mike your my man buddy, you know you are, but i gotta disagree with you here. on the basketball court as well as mk2, yes you do whatever it takes to win, it's not an on the court issue here but for the fact that he clearly tried running from his competition as much as possible by putting together an all star lineup with his buddies wade and bosh. would you give lebron the same credit if he won a ring in Miami then if he won a ring in Cleveland? i certainly WOULD NOT.Lebron, wade and bosh put this  "all star" lineup together behind closed doors and i have no respect for that at all.  lebron james has NO HEART WHATSOEVER on and off the basketball court. on the court it shows, on the court he doesn't have that rip your heart out mindstate in the 4th quarter of games, he IS NOT clutch player and is in fact SCARED to take the last shot in most clutch situations, he clearly was in this series when he either passed the ball up or did what he usually does and settle for a 3 pointer instead of taking the ball to the rack like Jordan or Kobe is famous for doing, and his off the court decision showed his true heart, Dwayne wade and chris bosh were always his COMPETITORS, him being "KING JAMES" should have embraced that, not bitch out bc he felt IN HIS WEAK LITTLE HEART that he wasn't good enough to win a title in cleveland, which is obviously the case, afterall you didn't see any players without rings such as charles barkley, karl malone, patrick ewing, etc, run to michael jordan and sign with the bulls to win a ring did you. ............ and finally the fact that lebron james TOOK LESS MONEY to sign with Miami then Cleveland (the team where he was from and WORSHIPPED HIM) only proves to me more that this was not a business decision but a decision based on the fact that he felt in HIS WEAK LITTLE HEART that he simply was not good enough to lead Cleveland to a title himself like the TRUE LEGENDS of all time have done. Legends do not run from the competition, they embrace it and lebron clearly tried to run from the competition as much as possible. But sadly for him this time it didn't work out for him lol

^Never thought about it that way. I can't think of too many other people who have done the same. Even in baseball, dudes ain't trying to join the Yankees for a championship, it's more because the Yanks buy up EVERYONE.
